GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SEASONAL RENTAL
Cottage Christine – 17, rue du Tombois – 6640 Vaux-sur-Sûre


1. Purpose and Use
The rental concerns a furnished house for temporary, strictly personal and peaceful use. No professional, commercial, or event-related activities may be carried out on the premises.

2. Duration
The stay is agreed for a fixed period, with check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM at the latest. Any extension beyond these hours is only possible with the landlord’s written approval. The contract is not automatically renewable.

3. Capacity
The house accommodates a maximum of 6 people. An extra bed is available upon request. Any exception must be approved in writing by the landlord. Unauthorized over-occupancy may result in additional charges or early termination.

4. Payment of the Deposit
A 30% deposit of the total rental cost is required within 7 days of booking. A 24-hour cancellation period is allowed after payment. Payment constitutes agreement and is binding for both parties. The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Guests are advised to consider travel cancellation insurance in case of force majeure. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the stay.

5. Prohibitions
– Subletting is strictly prohibited.
– No parties or events are allowed without prior written consent.
– Quiet must be maintained at all times, especially after 10:00 PM.

6. Cleaning and Property Condition
Final cleaning is included in the rental price.

7. Care and Maintenance
The cottage is rented in pristine condition. All equipment is in working order. In case of malfunction, please notify the cottage manager immediately upon discovery.

8. Waste Disposal
A dual-bin system is provided on the side of the house for waste separation.

9. Pets & Smoking
Pets are allowed. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.

10. Joint Rental
In the case of joint rental, all signatories are jointly responsible for all obligations under this contract. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of Neufchâteau shall have jurisdiction.
